Acorn the squirrel loved her cozy tree hollow. She had fluffy pillows and jars full of yummy nuts!
Every morning, she hopped on her tiny paws and stretched her bushy tail. "What a beautiful day!" she squeaked.
Today felt different. Acorn's nose wiggled. Sniff, sniff! Something smelled amazing from the big oak tree.
She hopped closer and found Grandma Owl baking acorn cookies. "Oh my!" gasped Acorn. "They smell so good!"
"Would you like to learn?" hooted Grandma Owl kindly. Acorn's eyes sparkled with excitement!
Together they mixed and stirred. Acorn's little paws got covered in flour. Poof! White powder everywhere!
"I want to bake for everyone!" said Acorn. But her tree hollow was too tiny for mixing bowls and baking.
She tried using a mushroom cap as a bowl. Splat! The batter spilled. "Oh no!" she sighed sadly.
Her tail drooped down. How could she share yummy treats if she had no space to bake?
"Let's work together!" chirped Robin. All her friends arrived with acorns, berries, and helping paws!
They cleaned out a hollow log and made it into a perfect bakery. Everyone brought something special to share.
Soon, delicious smells filled the forest. "Hooray!" cheered Acorn, dancing with joy. Cookies for everyone!
Friends munched warm treats together. Bunny brought honey, Mouse brought seeds. The bakery buzzed with happiness!
As sunset painted the sky orange, Acorn snuggled in her hollow. Her heart felt warm and full.
"The best treasure isn't golden nuts," she whispered. "It's sharing sweet moments with friends!" She smiled and closed her eyes.
