Bruno Builds a Bridge

Story Preview

Bruno the bull had big, strong muscles. She loved using them to help everyone in the meadow!

One morning, Bruno saw the stream was too wide. "How can my friends cross over?" she wondered.

"I know! I'll carry logs!" Bruno lifted a heavy log all by herself. Oof! It was so heavy!

Splash! The log rolled right into the water. Bruno giggled. "Oops! That didn't work!"

Bruno tried again. She pushed harder. Her muscles got tired. "Huff... puff... this is hard!"

Little Mouse watched Bruno struggle. "Can I help?" she squeaked. Bruno shook her head proudly.

Bruno dragged another log. Her legs wobbled. The sun was hot. She needed a rest.

Rabbit hopped over with twigs. Mouse brought rope. "We want to help!" they said together.

Bruno watched them work as a team. Mouse tied knots. Rabbit gathered sticks. Interesting!

"Maybe..." Bruno thought. "Maybe I don't have to do everything alone?"

"Yes! Let's work together!" Bruno smiled big. She lifted logs while Mouse tied them tight!

Rabbit directed where to put each log. Everyone had a special job. It was like a fun game!

Soon, a beautiful bridge stretched across the stream! Bruno, Mouse, and Rabbit danced with joy!

All the meadow friends crossed the new bridge. "Thank you, team!" they cheered happily.

Bruno hugged her friends tight. "Building together is the best way!" She felt so proud!
