Story Preview
In a tiny mushroom house, Dewlet the fairy mouse stretched her delicate wings. The morning sun made them sparkle!
She flew to her garden where dewdrops waited on flower petals. "Perfect day for collecting!" she sang softly.
As the sun climbed higher, Dewlet filled her last bottle. Her wings felt tired and her eyes grew heavy.
The sky turned pink and orange like a cozy blanket. Time to flutter home to her mushroom clearing.
Inside, Dewlet put on her softest moss slippers. She sipped warm honey tea and nibbled a seed cake.
Her little sister Petal peeked around the corner. "Dewlet, I'm not sleepy at all!" she squeaked.
"Let's have a quiet bath in the rain puddle," Dewlet suggested gently. They splashed just a little bit.
After drying their fuzzy fur, they put on matching starlight pajamas. So soft and warm!
Dewlet brushed Petal's whiskers with a dandelion brush. "One, two, three..." she counted in a whisper.
"Time for my special helper," said Dewlet. She brought out a tiny bottle that glowed like moonlight.
"Goodnight, little mushroom house. Goodnight, dewdrop bottles," they said together, sprinkling the magic dust.
"Goodnight, moon through our window. Goodnight, fireflies dancing," Petal yawned as stars appeared on her pillow.
Dewlet tucked the acorn-shell blanket around her sister. "The star dust will bring sweet dreams," she promised.
Petal hugged her cattail cushion close. Dewlet's gentle wing wrapped around her like a feather cloud.
Soon both mice were dreaming of tomorrow's dewdrops, floating on beds of dandelion fluff. Sweet dreams...
