Story Preview
Momo looked down. Plop! Her pearls sat at the bottom. “Why do they always sink?” said Momo.
Momo gave a big wiggle. Swoosh! Maybe wiggling would float them up! She wiggled and wiggled.
Plop. Plop. Plop. The pearls sank right back down. “Oh no!” giggled Momo.
Momo grabbed her straw and — SLURP! She sucked one pearl all the way up! Boing!
The pearl flew! It bounced off the spoon. Bonk! And then it rolled back… plop. Back down again.
Momo thought hard. Her straw bent sideways — think, think, think. “The pearls belong at the bottom! And then I get to find them!”
Momo's friend Cup came close. “Try your straw!” said Momo with a bounce. SLURP! “Hooray!” cheered Cup.
