Otto the sausage dog stretched his long body across the kitchen floor. Mom was scrubbing dishes. Dad was mopping. Everyone looked so tired and grumpy!
"Cleaning is SO boring!" Otto sighed. His tail drooped like a sad noodle. "There must be a faster way to clean everything at once..."
Suddenly, Otto's ears perked up. His eyes sparkled. "I'VE GOT IT!" he barked. "I'll build the most amazing cleaning machine EVER!"
Otto zoomed to the garage. He grabbed the leaf blower, three mops, and Dad's power drill. "This will clean EVERYTHING in two seconds!" he giggled.
He tied the mops to the ceiling fan with jump ropes. He duct-taped brushes to his skateboard. "Now for the soap launcher!" Otto grinned mischievously.
Otto filled water balloons with bubble bath. He loaded them into Mom's tennis ball machine. "Ready... set... CLEAN!" He pushed ALL the buttons at once.
WHOOOOSH! The ceiling fan spun like a helicopter! Mops whirled wildly, knocking over lamps. "Uh oh," Otto gulped. "Maybe that's too fast!"
SPLAT! SPLASH! SPLOOSH! Soap balloons exploded everywhere! The walls dripped with bubbles. The cat looked like a walking foam mountain. "Oopsie!" Otto squeaked.
The leaf blower roared to life, blowing papers like a snowstorm! Otto tried to catch them but slipped on the soapy floor. CRASH! He slid into the bookshelf.
Books tumbled down like dominoes! Otto's skateboard-brushes scraped crazy zigzags on the walls. Rainbow soap streaks decorated everything. "This isn't working!" he yelped.
Otto tried to turn off the tennis ball machine. But his paws were too slippery! More soap balloons launched - BOING! BOING! BOING! They bounced off everything!
The mops tangled together, making the ceiling fan wobble! It shook the whole house like jelly! Pictures fell off walls. Furniture danced across rooms!
Otto's skateboard zoomed out of control, brushes spinning! It chased the terrified goldfish bowl around the room. "Come back here!" Otto barked, sliding after it.
The leaf blower sucked up Mom's curtains! They flapped like giant bat wings! Otto grabbed them but got wrapped up like a sausage roll. "HELP!" he howled.
BOOM! The ceiling fan broke free! It spun through the air like a mop-covered UFO! Otto, still wrapped in curtains, bounced after it like a spring!
Everything collided in the living room - MEGA CRASH! Soap bubbles filled the air like snow! Feathers from pillows floated everywhere! Otto popped out of the curtains.
The whole family stood in the doorway, mouths wide open. The house looked like a bubble bath tornado hit it! Even the ceiling dripped with foam. Total disaster!
Then Dad started laughing. Mom giggled too. Soon everyone was rolling on the floor! "Well," Mom chuckled, "at least everything smells minty fresh now!"
They all grabbed mops and cleaned together, telling jokes and having bubble fights. Otto wagged his tail. "See? My machine DID work - it made cleaning FUN!"
